For sofas, a throw should be large enough to drape generously across the seat or arm, adding softness without overwhelming the form. For beds, choose a larger size to layer across the foot of the bed or cover it more fully for added warmth and texture.

Dry cleaning is recommended to help preserve the softness, texture and structure of the fibres.

The warmth of a throw or blanket depends largely on the fibres used. Throws and blankets made from wool, alpaca or llama fibres are generally warmer due to their natural loft and insulating properties. Linen throws are often preferred in warmer months, offering breathability and a lighter feel. Silk and cashmere throws can also provide warmth, but are typically lighter in weight and may offer less insulation than our wool or alpaca blankets and throws.
